Collection of Paintings, Old Town Hall Gallery Dec. 5, 2013-Feb. 6, 2014

Current Exhibits:

During July 2014, “After Sunday Market, St. Cyprien” and “Inviting Patio in Umbria” are showing, along with other beautiful pieces and a wonderful fund-raising set of puzzle piece art done by Wounded Warriors at Fort Belvoir, at the Vienna Arts Center, 115 Pleasant Str., NW in Vienna, VA–this Gallery is open Tues.-Sat. from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Please visit Vienna Arts Society’s website for activities and details at www.viennaartssociety.org

Also, beginning July 21 through August 30, 2014, “Sunny Window in Provence” and two small beach paintings will be hanging in the “Some Like it Hot” show at the Vienna Arts Society Gallery, located at 513 Maple Ave., West, Vienna, VA–this Gallery is open Tues.-Sat. from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

During July and August, “Blue Door with Opalescent Walls” is showing in the Fairfax Old Town Hall Gallery  (2nd  floor) which is generally open from Mon.-Thurs. from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., located at the corner of University Drive and Main Street, in the City of Fairfax, Virginia.

 September  2014 and  going forward:

I will be participating in Vienna Arts Society and Springfield Art Guild shows as posted above. I will be posting receptions etc., on my Facebook page Davi Fine Arts! Hope to see you at some of these great events!

People’s Choice Awards:

In November 2013, my oil painting “After Sunday Market in St. Cyprien (France)” won the People’s Choice Award at the Village Gallery in Fairfax, VA! Thank you again to those who voted for this painting!

In October 2013, my oil painting “63 Rue Marie II” won the People’s choice Award at the Village Gallery in Fairfax, VA! Thanks to all who voted for this painting! Davi

On September 12, 2013, my oil painting “Red Door with Lemon Tree, St. Cyprien” won the People’s Choice Award at the Old Town Hall Gallery reception! Thanks so much to all who voted for my painting! Davi

Past Exhibits:

Dec. 2013-Apr. 2014

From December 2013 -February 6, 2014 8 of my paintings were showing in a collection at the Old Town Hall Gallery and a single oil painting is showing at the Village Gallery. New paintings were exhibited in both locations beginning February 6, 2014, with a reception open to the public on February 22, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. at the Village Gallery location.

From February 10, 2014-April 10, 2014, 4 of my paintings were exhibited and for sale at the Open Table’s Top 100 French restaurant Bistro l’Hermitage, Woodbridge, VA.

During the month of April, 2014, “Inviting Patio In Umbria, Italy” was showing in Fairfax’s Kaleidescope show at the Old Town Hall in Fairfax, VA.

Oct. 2013-Jan.  2014:

“Healthy Life on a Table” was juried into the Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts show and on exhibit at the Sherwood Gallery! It was selected from 175 submissions by more than 60 artists (only about 75 pieces were accepted).

April-May  2013:

“Shakespeare and Roses on Rue Cler, Paris” and “Red Door with Lemon Tree, St. Cyprien, France” were exhibited and for sale at the Sherwood Center, 3740 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA.  This was my first “juried” exhibit–these 2 paintings were judged and selected from more than 135 submissions. There was a large catered reception, award presentation, and concert on April 26.

January 2013:

• “Shakespeare and Roses on Rue Cler, Paris“

Was exhibited at the Lorton Arts Center, Lorton, VA.

November 2012-January 2013:

• “Welcoming Blue Shutters in a Country Village“
• “Gone for a Walk on the Shore“

Both were exhibited at the Goodwin House in Alexandria, VA.
